Pamplona. Walls and its citadel

One of the most interesting and best preserved defensive ensembles of Spain, which has earned it the declaration of a National Monument; with its five kilometres to explore it allows an unusual and evocative stroll on the edge of the town. The Citadel* is considered to be the best example of military architecture of the Spanish Renaissance and one of the most noteworthy defensive complexes of Europe.
